Letting Process
When you’re looking for a property to rent, you’ll find Intire easy to deal with and highly knowledgeable about every aspect of lettings. We like to make moving home plain sailing so if you have any questions about the lettings process, read our brief guide below or give us a ring. We’d love to hear from you!

1. Register
You can contact us via this website, by ‘phone or in person by visiting our office. We recommend that you sign up to our free property email alerts to be amongst the first to receive details about the very latest properties matching your requirements. |
|

2. Property Search
Select the properties you are interested in by using our website search facility then contact us to arrange a viewing. In order to secure a property, we recommend viewings are conducted as soon as possible - popular properties let within days or even hours! We accompany every viewing so we’re on hand to answer any questions you may have. |
|

3. Reserve Property
Once you have found a suitable property, you will need to reserve it by completing a Tenancy Application Form and paying the Application Fee. We will then take the property off the market immediately and commence referencing. |

4. Referencing
Referencing takes approximately 3-5 working days provided the necessary information has been supplied. Your residential, employment and credit status will be confirmed and, where applicable, a landlord reference will also be sought.
|
|

5. Tenancy Paperwork
When the references are all back and satisfactory, you will be able to proceed with signing the tenancy paperwork. Before you can move in, we will require the first month’s rent and tenancy deposit in cash or by banker’s draft. The remaining rent is payable by a monthly standing order from your bank account. |
|

6. Check-in
Our Property Manager will check you into your new home and talk you through the inventory/schedule of condition, which you must check and sign. If we are not managing the property, the landlord will organise the check in with you directly. Utilities will be notified and the council tax office informed. |
