Businesses are being urged to set up shop on vacant spaces available in Bristol's Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone, reports build.co.uk.
The Diesel Depot site is the area firms and community groups are being urged to set up their ventures in a bid to create the "first steps towards the delivery of a new creative hub in the heart of the city".
Businesses are being asked to bring life and activity to the 3.4 ha site, which is available for the next two years.
According to Insider Media, the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone is expected to deliver almost 17,000 jobs in Bristol over a 25 year period. As more people travel to Bristol for potential job interviews, Bristol letting agents should be on high alert as housing will be in demand if these interviews turn into full-time positions.
Homes and Communities Agency Head of Area David Warburton hailed the revitalisation of the area, claiming: "Until this site is developed, we want to ensure that local organisations have the chance to use it for purposes which show how the objectives of the Enterprise Zone can start to be delivered.
"I am really excited about the ideas that this could generate and I look forward to hearing from those with an interest in this project," he added.
