The Frome area of Bristol is in line to receive a brace of new developments in line with the council's regeneration plans, features.rr reports.
Developments in the city could benefit from millions of pounds worth of investment, with plans outlined to create thousands of new homes. In the original suggestions, Frome looked set to be in line for very little development, although new plans suggest the opposite may eventually be the case.
58 homes were originally outlined for creation in Frome across four different sites. Now, it appears that the long-awaited Knowle West regeneration area could be taking a step closer, with plans being dealt with separately as they are so expansive.
Provided the plans are successful, letting agents in Bristol can look forward to the inclusion of a billion pound development for their books, as well as the further developments around Frome.
Speaking to thisisbristol.co.uk, council spokeswoman Helen Hewitt explained: "Following five months of consultation on the Options for Site Allocations and Development Management policies and careful consideration of nearly 6,000 submissions, the city council is now preparing for the next step towards a new development plan for Bristol.
"The public will be invited to comment on this document and those comments will help to inform and influence the final content of the plan."
