The Times and Sunday Times Lettings Agency of the Year Awards 2015

Letting Agents Bristol

Intire Lettings Bristol and Bath offices were crowned as the Best Letting Agents in the South West at The Sunday Times Lettings Agency of the Year Awards 2015 sponsored by Zoopla Property Group.

This is the fifth consecutive year Intire Lettings have won the top slot, and it’s an unprecedented achievement in the history of the awards, further bolstering the company’s position as leading letting agents in Bristol and Bath.

On Friday 12th June, over 550 prominent letting agents from throughout the UK attended a glittering ceremony at The Lancaster London Hotel opposite Hyde Park where the winners of the most highly-regarded awards in the lettings industry were revealed.

To be in the winning letting agents is a huge privilege for our Bristol and Bath letting agents, and we’re thrilled to be winning further letting industry awards this year.
The winners were presented with their awards by six-time world champion and marathon ace, Paula Radcliffe MBE, with renowned journalist, author and newsreader Penny Smith acting as compere.

Award winners were decided following a rigorous and thorough judging process by a panel of 20 industry experts who assessed initial entry submissions before conducting an extensive review of the entrants, which included over 150 hours of telephone interviews and independent mystery shopping exercises.

The whole of the judging process was overseen by The Property Ombudsman, Christopher Hamer, and David Cox, Managing Director designate of ARLA acted as Arbiter.
Now in its sixth year as a dedicated competition, these awards have become widely recognised as the most prestigious and difficult to win in the lettings industry. For Intire Lettings to gain further independent recognition for our hard work, commitment to both investment landlords and professional tenants, as well as our ongoing letting industry training for our letting agents in Bristol and Bath is a huge boost to all of our staff across our letting agency offices in Bristol and central Bath.

With more entrants than ever before, over 5,000 offices were represented this year, and the best of the best were crowned as winners, including our letting agencies. Individuals were also recognised for their hard work and commitment to customer service in four different categories, and a new award was introduced for 2015; The Best Lettings Agency to Work For.

Intire Lettings, winners of the Best Small Agency (South West), were delighted to receive the award, confirming their position as dynamic and leading letting agencies in Bristol and Bath.
Atif Javid, Managing Director of Intire Lettings, said: “We are delighted with this fantastic achievement. The staff and management at Intire are immensely pleased with the win, and look forward to retaining the title again next year!”. “This further recognition of our work confirms our desire to offer the most competitive and customer-focused property management services, letting agency services and landlord services in Bristol and Bath in 2015 and beyond” concluded Atif.

The staff and management at Intire are immensely pleased with the win and look forward to retaining the title next year!”.

The judge's report said:

"This is a great business run by a team of very lovely and enthusiastic people. The agency is run around four central tenets; specialist, professional, informative and willing to go the extra mile. This philosophy is working as demonstrated by the growth rates and high levels of customer satisfaction; they’re winning new tenants and landlords every day. Investment and innovation is key and would be impressive in a business much larger than this one. In the first few months of this year alone they have opened a new office, launched a rebranded website, introduced their 21 Point Promise for landlords and the “Intirely Guaranteed” premium service, and given landlords access to online services via new technology. The aim is to offer an unrivalled service – team morale is sky high and the judges have every confidence that the people of the South West have access to a truly outstanding agency."

The Times and Sunday Times Lettings Agency of the Year Awards 2013

Intire has again scooped Gold at The Times and Sunday Times Lettings Agency of the Year Awards 2013, that were held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on Friday 24th May 2013. Intire took home the Gold award for Best Small Agency (2-5 Branches) in the South West.

The Lettings Agency of the Year Awards, now in their fourth year, are the only awards that focus solely on lettings, seeking to find the very best in the business. The Award was presented by Karen Brady, Lord Sugar's aide on the BBC 1 show The Apprentice. Judges report described Intire as:

A young company driven by a youthful team who really seem to know what they are doing. It is a clever balance of business assurance and dynamism that attracts clients and has subsequently made the business highly profitable. Not a team to rest on their laurels, Intire are working to a steep target for 2013 and are well on track to achieve this. It is a simple notion but Intire has put transparency at the heart of its offering and this is in evidence in everything it does. The judges liked the fact a personal training budget is in place for each team member, as the company believes personal development and competent members of staff lead to a better business. The continuity of Intire's marketing is brilliant- a seamless execution linking the website, the printed marketing collateral and the award submission itself. An all-inclusive transparent fee structure, self-insured rent guarantee,100% satisfaction guarantee, no tenancy renewal fee, internal tenant referencing, free transfers for tenants, and a cloud-based networked office structure make Intire a very rounded agency for such a fledgling company. A great business with a very energetic owner, with vision and fresh ideas.

We are absolutely delighted with our success at this year’s Lettings Agency of the Year Awards. This recognition from the industry demonstrates our commitment and dedication to our service and professionalism. We also fought off fierce competition from the national firms, once again proving that we punch well above our weight.

The Times and Sunday Times Lettings Agency of the Year Awards 2012

In 2012, Intire were also awarded the Gold Award for the Best Single Office in the South West at The Times and Sunday Times Lettings Agency of the Year Awards 2012.

The award is the culminating event of a rigorous and thorough judging process carried out over a four-month period by a panel of industry experts who assess initial entry submissions before conducting an extensive review of the entrants, which includes hundreds of telephone interviews and mystery shopping exercises. The whole of the judging process is overseen by The Property Ombudsman; Christopher Hamer.

These awards have become widely recognised as the most sought-after and difficult to win. With more entrants than ever before, over 5,000 offices were represented this year, but only the very best of the best were crowned as winners.

We received glowing feedback from the judges: "Judges described Intire as an excellent business with an abundance of ambition and market nous. They praised the agency's equal focus on landlords and tenants, the absence of tenancy renewal fees and the provision of floor plans and interactive maps, which prospective tenants can download before they see a property. They also praised the single landlord fee, which covers all associated agency fees and costs. Landlords receive an all-inclusive managed service that provides landlords with comprehensive rent guarantee and legal expenses cover for the entire term of each tenancy. Robust compliance levels help to retain both landlords and tenants, as does staff training, which is comprehensive, thanks to an annual budget of £1,200 per staff member. A can-do attitude and professionalism shines through in everything the team does, so much so that in a recent survey, the team scored 95.91% for their customer service levels. It thus comes as no surprise that in-bound calls are answered within three rings and emails responded to within an hour, with a follow-up email sent the next day.”

Winning this award is a huge achievement and we’re exceptionally proud that our innovative customer service focused approach to lettings has been recognised.

Intire are ESTAS 2012 award winners

It's official. Intire are one of the top three letting agents in the South West and the only letting agent in Bath to be recognised for its excellent customer service as voted for by their clients during the course of 2011.

The award was announced by Phil Spencer, the TV property expert at a lavish luncheon & ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane London attended by 550 of the UK’s top estate and letting agents on 20th April 2012.

Phil Spencer said “The ESTAS are the most important and valuable awards in our industry. An ESTA is not an easy accolade to pick up, to win one requires a lot of hard work, over a very long period of time.”

Simon Brown, owner of the awards added “Agents that take part in the ESTAS believe passionately in providing the highest quality customer service. They are prepared to go that extra mile, prepared to take criticism as well as praise and prepared to invest and develop their businesses accordingly”.

The results of the competition were determined by research carried out amongst customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent. Over 33,000 votes were received making it the biggest consumer survey of its kind in the property industry.

Everyone here at Intire are absolutely delighted to have won at award at the ESTAS. The awards means so much because it’s our clients who have rated us not a judging panel. We pride ourselves on high levels of customer service as this award shows we must be getting it right!

A big thank you goes out to all our landlords that voted for us. Without you, we could not have achieved this top industry recognition.
