How to switch to us

1. Contact us

If you are thinking about moving, talk to us! Let us know in plenty of time before your current contract/ tenancy agreement is due to end. This will give us time to prepare the paperwork, marketing material and organise the transfer of the management of your property to us in advance.

2. We will check your current contract

You are not always obliged to stay with your current letting agent - especially if you are not happy with the level of service you are receiving or if your current tenancy is due to end shortly. We will be happy to check your agreement (on a no obligation basis) and advise you further.

3. We contact your current agent

Once you have decided to switch, we will contact your letting agent and notify them of your intention to switch. We will arrange for the collection of the necessary paperwork (such as tenancy agreement, inventory, gas safety record, rent schedule, deposit protection certificate and EPC) and management keys.

4. We contact your current tenant

We will contact your current tenant to introduce ourselves, let them formally know that Intire will now be managing the property and give them all the necessary information such as bank account details (so as to ensure the continuity of rental payments) and contact details for property management matters.

5. Tenancy transfer to Intire and switch completion

It generally takes about 3-4 weeks for the completion of the transfer. Throughout this process, our dedicated switching team will ensure that they do all the hard work for you – so the switch to Intire proceeds as smoothly as possible for you and your tenant.

6. You get £200 cash back!

Once the switch has taken place, subject to the terms of the Cash Back offer, you will receive £200 Cash Back. Remember, we give £200 Cash Back for each and every property transferred.
